Notice on The English-taught Majors for Bachelor Program

In order to expand our enrollment scale of foreign students, to enhance the whole internationalization level of bachelor cultivation, and to promote the “Double First-Class”  project, Fuzhou University plans to open English-taught majors for bachelor program since 2018, details are as follows:

I. Majors

International Economy and Trade (School of Economic and Management), Computer Science and Technology (School of Mathematics and Computer Science), Civil Engineering (School of Civil Engineering).

Ⅱ. Enrollment Plan

Every class of each major is supposed to contain 20 to 30 students. If the total number is less than 20, the major may not be opened. But the candidate students can choose to transfer to other English-taught major or Chinese Language major.

Ⅲ. Application Materials

In accordance with the requirements of Fujian Government Scholarship, the list is as follows:

（1）Application Form (in duplicate).

（2）Passport Copy

（3）Two Photographs of Passport-size

（4）Two Letters of Recommendation.

（5）Transcripts of the Most Advanced Studies (Notarized Photocopy).

（6）Diploma of the Most Advanced Studies (Notarized Photocopy)

   （7）HSK Certificate or English Certificate

（8）Foreigner Physical Examination Form (Photocopy).

（9）Study Plan in China，more than 800 words and sign by the applicant

(10) Articles or Papers Written or Published.

No matter the candidates are admitted or not, all the application materials will not be returned.

Ⅳ. Application Deadline: before March 30, 2018

Ⅴ. All the application materials will be examined, and the university will select outstanding candidates and offer full scholarship. Those candidates with HSK-4 or IELTS，TOFEL certificate are preferred. Candidates with talent or skills are preferred, and the certificates should be attached.

Ⅵ. Results Announcement: approximately the end of April, 2018 or beginning of May, 2018.
