I. Brief Introduction to FZU
Co-sponsored by Fujian Provincial Government and the Chinese Ministry of Education, Fuzhou University is one of the national key universities that are selected into the “211 Project”, a Chinese government program for the 21st century to support 100 selected universities for their further rapid development. Founded in 1958, it has now developed into a key comprehensive university in Fujian Province, giving priority to engineering courses and also enjoying a reputation for excellence in other fields including sciences, economics, management, liberal arts, law, arts and design, etc.
Fuzhou University has been approved by the Ministry of Education to offer undergraduate and postgraduate programs to students from Hong Kong, Macau, Taiwan regions and also abroad, and now it has about 50,000 full-time students, and a staff of 3084, including over 1,828 full-time faculty members.

·Other related documents, if necessary.
* Any non-English documents must be translated into English and be attested.
* The medical report should be issued by medical institutions designated by local Chinese embassies or consulates.
* Students who want to apply can send the scanned copy of the above documents

IV. Tuition and Fees
Tuition: 20,000 RMB/year (undergraduates, for groups)
25,000 RMB/year (postgraduates)
Accommodation: 3,500 RMB / year (double room)
Application Fee: 500 RMB
Textbooks: 400 RMB/year
Medical Insurance: about 600 RMB/year
Physical Inspection: about 460 RMB/year
Residence Permit: 400 RMB/year
V. Scholarship
Foreign students in FZU can apply for Fuzhou University Scholarship and Provincial Government Scholarship of Fujian.
